On 3/10/2009 My DAD left us for his eternal home. We are missing him like crazy, but are sure in the knowledge that we will see him again when we join him there. He left us short of 56 years married on the earth to Mom by 4 days. His funeral was held on Friday and it was a beautiful day. At the end of the graveside service we were joined by a group of deer which was awesome. My dad always loved the deer and looked for them on the side of the freeways when we were traveling and in the campground. His life touched a lot of others as represented by those who attended his funeral. We apologise to anyone we might have missed in notification or our thanks during this trying time for the family.
