Wow we got rain here in California today. This is the view out the front and back window. We fish for catfish etc. in this river. It is very low. We are at Turtle Beach campground in Manteca, Ca. We leave tomorrow for Morgan Hill. They are talking drought here and rationing water. This is a small campground and everything is portable. The river floods the park on occasion so the bathroom/showers are on trailers, even the guard shack so that it can be pulled up on the leave.
We got excepted to be camphosts at China Camp State Park in December for three to six months. It is in San Rafael, Ca. This will allow us to be closer to family for the holidays. We are still waiting for conformation on a position at Zion Ponderosa Resort by St. George, Utah. If we get that we will work there from March to October. We are really looking forward to it. It is a part of the country we spent some time but not enough.

  1. Well, I just think this is such a good idea--to keep a blog on your vagabond lifestyle--should have done it long ago, guys! I, for one, will be checking in often to see what's up in Ozzy-land. You could post pictures of your quilts, too, and your big dinners, and it would have been great to see that big mushroom place by San Jose that I never got to see for myself. Oh, the possibilities!
